Our journey began in 2015 when our founders, Tom Gardocki and Craig Hammel, came together with a vision to deliver exceptional excavation services using the latest technology and techniques.From the very beginning, our focus has always been on providing outstanding service to our clients. TOM GARDOCKI
Co-Owner
Meet Tom – a guy who’s been moving dirt all his life, thanks to his family’s landscaping roots. He was first sighted operating equipment at the age of four (riding on his dad’s lap). Now he holds some impressive degrees under his belt too, with associate degrees in Construction Management and Business Management from the University of New Hampshire’s Thompson School of Applied Science, which he wrapped up back in ’09.
Tom’s hard work and dedication to his craft have not gone unnoticed, earning him recognition within the industry. In 2017, he was honored to be named one of Construction Equipment Magazine’s top 15 under 40 in construction. He was recognized for his expertise, leadership, and commitment to excellence in the industry.
With his growing reputation, Tom has become somewhat of a social media sensation. He shares his knowledge and experience with a massive following on various platforms, where he is known as The Dirt Ninja. Tom is passionate about educating others about the industry and sharing his tips and tricks.
All in all, Tom is a skilled and knowledgeable professional with a lifetime of experience in the field. Whether he’s behind the controls of a piece of equipment or sharing his expertise on social media, Tom is always working to promote the industry and inspire others to pursue careers in construction.
CRAIG HAMMEL
Co-Owner
Say hello to Craig – a seasoned excavation expert with over a decade of experience. He’s a proud alumnus of the University of New Hampshire, where he earned his associate’s degree in Construction Management and a Bachelor’s in Community and Environmental Planning in 2010.
Craig’s leadership skills are well-honed thanks to his experience as a supervisor for one of the area’s largest snow removal contractors during the winter months. He’s fully licensed and certified with New Hampshire septic installer, drainlayer’s licenses across multiple municipalities in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts, OSHA 10 certification, and a New Hampshire asbestos disposal site contractor’s certification.
But, what really sets Craig apart is his genuine passion for the job. He thrives on the unique challenges presented by each jobsite. He’s always on the lookout for new and innovative solutions, and takes pride in leading his team in producing high-quality results that exceed their customers’ expectations. Despite his impressive credentials and extensive knowledge, Craig remains approachable, friendly, and always ready to lend a hand. It’s his down-to-earth, humble nature that makes him stand out in his field. When it comes to excavation, you’re going to want Craig on your team.
